Snail vs Crush
Sunday, April 6, 2008 - 7:43 pm - drzedlove
They definitely played Crush at the Christchurch concert because i remember singing 'like liquid peppermint' and I wasn't wasted. No doubt in my mind, I was so stoked.

Crush? I'm sure they played Snail instead
Friday, April 4, 2008 - 5:24 pm - emptyshell
I'm certain of it. After the concert I listened to Snail and I'm sure they played it and I didn't remember hearing Crush. Can anyone else back me up on this?

WOW
Wednesday, March 26, 2008 - 5:41 pm - PALEGREEN
This was an AMAZING concert, I for one am not going to have a bitch about the acoustics, or what they did and didn't play, because me and my friends had a blast! A f*ckin awesome time. I wish I had brought some green with me, cos people were lighting up everywhere, even in the seats! Thanks guys for putting on a great show, and I hope you come back soon

sydney.........TONIGHT!!!!

STILL BUZZING
Wednesday, March 26, 2008 - 12:57 am - deano2207
I gota say that i am still tripping over how amazing this concert was. If you thought the acoustics were crap, who cares, the Pumpkins [bad word removed]in rocked. As for 'United States', it was a high light live as it just went off.

what????
Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 7:42 pm - photographernz
Who the HELL booed Billy???!!! How lame!!! it was BEAUTIFUL to hear that song!!!!
Plus, it gave us a great chance to photograph him, coz it was still in the crowd...lovely!

QOTSA set
Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 7:24 pm - drzedlove
Just in addition to the QOTSA setlist below, they actually played 'You Would Know' and not 'Regular John' on the night (which I was absolutely stoked and surprised about - almost as much as hearing My Blue Heaven, Lily and Crush from the Pumpkins!) And a big screw you to everyone who booed Billy for My Blue Heaven, that was a nice rarity for the FANS.

hehe
Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 6:37 pm - photographernz
Thats right, that was gorgeous! He had a way better attitude than the QOTSA guy.... did anyone ever see the guy who threw the shoe?? That was the highlight of QOTSA for me (that, and their opening song was pretty phat.) Being that close to billy made up for being sandwiched between sweaty guys jumping on me all night!

best night of my life!!
Monday, March 24, 2008 - 10:50 pm - _ADORE_
i was at the barrier right in front of ginger, and it was AH-F*CKING-MAZING. my favourite was everlasting gaze and united states =D oh and piece of me haha. "Are you guys tired?? Tired of wriggling around like a bunch of worms?" Mr Jimmy Chamberlain on the tambourine!!

Peice of Me
Monday, March 24, 2008 - 6:42 pm - RuAzCaSu
The Best part of last nights Smashing Pumpkins was when billy started singing Briney Spears "peice of me". That was fun. Made me laugh.

Does any know QOTSA's setlist? i'm trying to figure it out

glad u agree

1st time at the westpac as i have just arrived in the country so did not know about its sound quality. i saw the pumpkins back in the mid 90s at rock city in nottigham and they were awesome. have seen some comments saying they were supposed to sound distorted as that is their new sound...just been listening to zeitgeist again and it doesn't sound overly distorted to me, not compared to early nirvana stuff. must have been the venue;(
