I'm a fan of The Smashing Pumpkins and most of Billy Corgan's works, first off, because Billy Corgan is the living incarnation of the perfect man (or at least, my perfect man) and I'd marry him if I could XD Also, the Pumpkins' music is what I grew up on, and it is what nurtured and encouraged my creativity while growing up in quite the restraining, painful lifestyle. Especially after reading Corgan's biography, I found the music and it's lyrics in particular, to be that much more heartfelt and relatable. With that said, the Pumpkins were the first band to remind me that, certain others have lived through what I am living through, and that if I keep on breathing and believing, I'll reach the stars, sooner or later.

Despite all this, I've neglected to reiterate my relentless admiration for Corgan's writings. Every time I read something by him, it takes my mind somewhere, and the sensation of each word in each sentence never grows old. I'm utterly spellbound by his ability to create a simple setting infused with so much emotion that certainly creates an imprint in the music, or in his poetry's case, your mind. There really is not much more to say than that, yet there is a world of words I can use to ramble on and on about the subject...

Also, D'arcy has to be one of the most stylish and inventive women in the world, even though she isn't in the band anymore, but I will always adore her.
