Billy's music saved me when I was a little girl. I had a rough time of it growing up (much as he did) and without the echo of my pain that I heard in the Pumpkins music I wouldn't be the well adjusted woman that I am today. He taught me, joy, love, sorrow, grief, and pain. But he also taught me that I wasn't alone. All I had to do was pop on a SP CD and I was in another more brilliant world coloured as only Billy can make it. Through the years their music has grown with me, and every stage of my life has been reflected in Billy's music. I would be lost, or at the very least someone completely different without the influence of their music. I owe my soul and sanity to the Smashing Pumpkins, and more particularly to Billy. I guess what it all boils down to is my belief in Billy Corgan. Hope when there was no hope. Love when there was no love. A soul that shined when mine felt wrecked beyond repair. Today, eleven years since I first heard a Smashing Pumpkins song, I'm still a fan. I will always be a fan. I will never stop believing the truths of Billy's music. I will die with the SP heart branded upon my own.
