Like a swirling galaxy around a black hole the depths of The Smashing Pumpkins music will never be known. Continuing to grasp my mind and ears (as of all SP listeners) with every album they release, they are my most beloved and the best band of time. Not only the best band to emerge from the 90’s “alternative” rock movement.

My personal appreciation of the Smashing Pumpkins happened during my early days in high school - when I first heard them I was immediately blown away (especially Siamese Dream) in amazement of their distinct sound and lyrics. As time went on, I began to grow an appreciation for the band like never before, that continues to this day. In my opinion Billy Corgan is a lyrical & musical genius who stretches the bounds of none other with songs that bring light to my soul and the universe to my ears. No other band can meld together the words, imagery and sound like the Smashing Pumpkins.
