It's completely personal for me as it is for everyone else.
why are people all around the world fans of the mighty Smashing Pumpkins? i can't tell you for sure.

But my love for them dates back to around 1993, when my brother had bought the "I Am One" single and he'd given it to me, after listening to it and claiming "not to care for it".

well i did care, i DO care. i'm still here 15 years later and loving every aspect of their career.

From the afore mentioned band, to Zwan, Billy's solo album, his poetry book, Jimmy's solo album. Everything! i've been there for it all.

and i hope to be there 20+ years more. i can't even begin to summerize how important the Smashing Pumpkins and Billy Corgan have been to me.

they have been there through the tears, the laughter, the deep sorrows, friends and uncountable other periods in my life. They’ve been a constant force creatively me, as I’ve developed in my own artistic visions.

Billy’s lyrics are unmatched, obscure, full of cinematic allure, inventive and astonishning. Jimmy’s drumming is breath taking, rhythmic, aggressive & motivational. Their music is classic, romantic, sorrowful and gut punching.

So why am I fan of the Smashing Pumpkins?
Because they encompass my loves of dark & light, the magical realism, the AMERICAN GOTHIC.

I salute and applaud your career.
