I fell in love with The Smashing Pumpkins when I first saw the video for 'Rocket' when I was 14, I think. There was no turning back after that. I wasn't allow to listen to "secular" music until my parents got divorced when I was 12. Something the Pumpkins music spoke to me. The thunderous guitars, the pain-filled lyrics, the genius videos, all played their part in making me a pumpkinhead. I now sport a Pumpkins heart tattoo with "Love is Suicide" surrounding it, and I can safely say that the Pumpkins will be my favorite until the day I die. Anyone who knows me can tell you that I'm the most devoted fan they know... and I know a LOT of people.
