Thanks for posting the Pumpkins on Letterman video from friday night. I fell asleep as soon as the show started (I know, lame-o for that time on a friday, but I work weekend mornings @7 and 6 am). First thing this morning I checked the site hoping some good soul had posted to song, low and behold, there it was... />Thanks, made my day!
Scotty

Mmmm, got to love such a glitchy site.

Pardon that post, what happened is beyond me O_o
I wish the Pumpkins would put a little more effort in this site.

Hey, guess what!

You can only vote for your own picture once, oh great dim one. :O
In which I didn't even do, so thank you for being as ignorant as the user that commented before. :]
I certainly don't care to be "number one" to anything lmao.. so please go back to MySpace, sit on your probable fat ass, stuff your austral simple-minded ass full of Wal-mart brand Doritos, and have a nice tall glass of NO-ONE-GIVES-A-[bad word removed], it's on me ;]
Oh yeah, that picture naturally got that many votes, I guess it was due to being the picture they last updated for the time being, why act so jealous over stupid internet pictures? Sheesh, and of course I'm going to put my name in my photos, it's quite bothersome to have anyone use your pictures as their own, but I sincerely doubt that you could comprehend anything I just said.. or should I speak in ape lingo for you as well?
Well, it's been truly amazing speaking with such a primitive specimen such as yourself, but I must remove myself from my seat now, and enjoy the outside world (I think my IQ dropped a point being on this site).

Ahhh, the lack of true intellectual hue..
Have a splendid day, mate.

Dog bless you.">OO-OOOO-AAAAA-AAAA!!#@

I would love to come to NC, but unfortunetly, I was busy moving and without internet during the whole announcement and sale of those tickets -- I was so surprised to come back online and discover that I completely missed my chance. I was thinking about possibly going to the fest in Baltimore, but I dunno.

And I love your fan story! Your ex gave you an awesome gift - Pumpkins love!

hello

Hello, I just wrote to say I like your 'why I am a fan' story, it's cool.

It's a lyric!

and a comment!

"we'll find a way to offer up the night tonight
the indescribable moments of your life tonight
the impossible is possible tonight
believe in me as i believe in you, tonight"

WHY I'M A FAN
Surprisingly I wasn't that much of a fan when I went to the show on May 3, 2000 at Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC. I'd heard the music and enjoyed it, but wasn't as much of a fan as my girlfriend at the time.

While we were standing at the doors, we noticed two buses pass by and before I could say "Wouldn't it be funny", my girlfriend made it around the building to the back lot. Sure enough it was the band's buses.

Waiting at the gate, staring intently, the members left the bus heading for the building, and Billy started walking towards us. The security guard let a few people through but told us no because we didn't pay to talk to him or whatever. In a moment that I'll never forget, Billy looks towards the security guy and waves the rest of us in. "Ok, but let the other people talk to him since they paid" Yeah, whatever.

We walked up to Billy and my girlfriend couldn't exercise her vocal abilities as he shook her hand and said hello. I returned his salutation and he started talking to the folks from the websites as he tossed his felt fisherman's hat in his hands. We stood in awe and my girlfriend stared at his arm and the white shirt he was wearing since he had a large piece of fuzz on his upper arm. She recounted to me later her plot to steal it, but refrained.

In the middle of him talking to us, he missed catching his hat and it fell to the ground. After about 5 or 6 seconds (it seemed much longer) Billy laughs and picks the hat back up. I'm sure we all just stared at the hat on the ground.

His demeanor, his love of his fans, and the beautiful sound of his music made me a fan almost immediately. Since that concert I've collected all of the SP albums, and dream of owning one of the masters for Machina II/FEOMM. I look forward to their triumphant return!
