I've been a fan of the Smashing Pumpkins since Siamese Dream came out. It was the first Pumpkin album I owned. Funny enough I got it for free. An old friend of mine said he didn't want it anymore. So I jumped at the opportunity to take it from him. Ever since I heard the song Rocket I've been entranced by the Pumpkins soundscape. Rock on! I'm still looking to form a Pumpkins sounding band out here in SanFrancisco. I'm sure I will. One day.

WHY I'M A FAN
I remember seeing the video for Rocket and thinking to myself, wow what is this? It didn't sound like anything I've ever heard of before. Maybe it was the dreamy and dirty distortion that let me in. At any rate, I was blown away. They've captivated me so much they inspired me to learn the guitar. I have been playing for over 10 years now. Thank you Smashing Pumpkins.
