does anyone know if they let you bring cameras in the smashing pumpkins concerts? not a video camera, just a regular camera...i really want to take pictures...does anyone have a clue?

sorry for not having answered sooner. In Germany and Holland they do not follow a strict policy, since every mobile phone features a digital camera nowadays. They told me that you can bring any camera you like as long as it does not offer the possibility to change lenses. So a decent reflex camera is not allowed even if you bring just one lense.
Well chosen lyric, it is one of my favourites as well.

hello there young pumpkin. Thanks for the Ad to the frilends. I am always skeptical of the venue as it deals with cameras. Figure out a way to inconspicuously bring the camera into the venue and let it rip. Thats what I always do, and I have never been disappointed.

Well for personal experience, i'll have to say that it depends on the event.. maybe i'm a freaky fan, but .. hidding your tinny little digital camera (tech this days rocks ), inside your extravagent gothic boots always works ..

I hope I get to go to Montreal or Toronto this September, but I somehow doubt I’ll make it out that far for this tour. They’ve played Halifax many times in the past, so I’m hoping they’ll be back sometime next year… and I’m pretty positive you can bring a camera to any SP show. That’s something they’ve always allowed. I seen Billy on his solo tour in 05, and any type of camera was fine to bring in… So are you defiantly getting to see them this tour?

We’re in the same situation financially right now, but I just downloaded it for free. I’m going to buy it next week on payday. You have to hear it from beginning to end, it’s amazing, but so different then I expected, after a few listens, I thought to myself… “What else could I have possibly expected from this band? It’s another perfect album to add to the list, and its completely different then any of the others. Just dont judge it too quickly, give it time to grow on you, 4 or 5 times though and im sure you'll feel the same as every other pumpkin fan. i'm going listen to it right now, i've been waiting all day to hear it. anyway, i hope you get your hands on it soon. take care

That’s exactly the type of music I can’t relate too, seems so pointless, but that’s just me… anyways, what do you think of Zeitgeist? It took me a couple of listens, but I love it.
