I was only a casual fan for a while. When I was 15, I borrowed my friend's copy of Mellon Collie to listen to while I was on vacation. I sat on the beach by the Gulf of Mexico and listened to the entire album. The finale being Farewell and Goodnight at sunset.
I was hooked from that point on. It's been crazy since then.

I've made many, many great friends over the years because of this band. I wouldn't be the person I am today without the music and the experiences it's brought me. It's inspired me in ways I can't even describe.
The Pumpkins hold a very special place in my heart and always will. They are still my absolute favorite band after all these years and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Oh, and my friend never got her Mellon Collie cd back.
