I really enjoyed reading your review entitled 'evolution' -I feel that Billy/the Pumpkins have evolved, changed for the better. When I heard Machina the first time, I felt sad because I could sense through the songs that this would be their last album. But at the same time, Machina was filled with 'songs of hope', like it wasn't just about one person feeling a certain way, but everybody. A real maturation occured. Machina become my favorite album, I absolutely love Stand Inside Your Love, Try Try Try, and Wound. Zeitgeist is really growing on me and will become a close favorite, but that is a perfect example of the Pumpkins coming of age, showing their integrity and love for the music.
