I heard SIVA late one night way back right after Gish came out.....bought the album next day....it was totally different than the hair metal bands I was used too. Didn't listen to it again for a few more weeks....then put GISH in again and was hooked forever. My first date with my wife was at the Smashing Pumpkins show Jan. 30th, 1996 at SOMA San Diego. I wore blue and white striped pajamas because the band wore PJ's as they were their own opening band playing acoustically. I knew she was the one if she kept going out with me wearing PJ's on a first date. LUNA was the song we had our first dance to at our wedding. STARLA is the name of my 7 year old daughter.

Billy is a master songwriter and guitarist. He writes great songs whether they are hard and rockin, or the soft and smooth acoustic. After hearing some more acoustic stuff at the Fillmore, I would love to see an acoustic album come out.
