WHY I'M A FAN
I'm a fan because the Smashing Pumpkins are pure perfection in the form of sound waves. Everything about the Pumpkins is absolutely perfect - the singing, guitar playing, songwriting, drumming, bass playing... it always all adds up and creates the most beautiful entity to ever have caressed my ears.
And even when they decide to go absolutely brutal (think X.Y.U. or An Ode to No One), it has to be the heaviest, purest thing I've ever heard.
The music of the Smashing Pumpkins has helped me throughout my life, no matter whats going on. And no matter how I feel, I can always pop in Siamese Dream or any other album and just ROCK THE HELL OUT. And NOTHING is better than rocking out to a little Pumpkins!
