How were the Asheville shows?
Do you have any favorite songs from Zeitgeist?
Oh yeah, I bought tickets to 2 shows (which says alot 'cause I never leave my apt., haha). Hopefully things will turn out right (I live so far away - Ridgefield, WA and Detroit shows). So great you were able to see the Pumpkins live, woo-hoo!

Hi, yes '93 was a musical awakening for me as well. Simply put, the band and the fans are truly sincere and genuine. So many people have so many stories to tell about how this music has had a positive effect.

Thanks for the comment on the video. I think its crucial that we understand whats going on around us and not let controlled media be our guide. This video is only the beginning of the real problem though, as the rabbit hole runs pretty deep. There is plenty of info out there for those who seek it, and I think in the spirit of the "Zeitgeist" we should all be looking for that knowledge. These are the most important times in the history of the world. Again, thanks for taking the time to watch and reply.

It is weird how we find them and hear of them. The real hardcore pumpkinfans that know every song and freak out over any news about the band are the best. We all have this bond and it's cool to see!

WHY I'M A FAN
My musical soul was born the first time I heard the Smashing Pumpkins in 1993. I was young, eager, and impressionable. (I'm sure like many who find themselves here.) Born into a very traditional, but cultured musical family, I immediately felt drawn to Billy's lyrics, melodies, and strumming emotion. This band was something more progressive than I could appreciate at that time. It was grand! I thought and felt more deeply and grew into a lady highly influenced by the pumpkin power. I never thought I would associate so many life events, or life time friends with this band. I never thought we would have gotten this far. These people. These children. These historians. The Smashing Pumpkins have always been, and will always be. A remarkable life investment it has been. And, now, a young professional...still rocking the originals, the B sides...the blissful gratitude I have goes on.
