so i saw the pumpkins at festival hall in melbourne on friday night.first time i have seen them and hopefully not the last.i really enjoyed the whole thing best concert ive been to,i could'nt belive it when they played mayonnaise never in my dreams thought they would play that song so happy that they did because it is possibly my favourite but its hard to choose a favourite which i hate doing cause ill go back on it at some stage i have too many favourite songs lets just say there all good they also played drown which i also thought they wouldn'e play so i was happy as wish i was in the mosh pit although they weren't as good as us in the cages..really enjoyed thier new songs they played like tarantula,bring the light and united states which had a massive solo in the middle which was awesome oh n thats the way my love is acoustic sounded awesome and he did a few other songs acoustic like 1979 and perfect and they were really good felt like the whole crowd was into it great feelinggreat moments .mr billy corgan did a solo cover of blue heaven which was just really cool and unexpected also they played lily my one and only which was also awesome and unexpected.was hoping they'd play doomsday clock and 7 shades of black but they didn't for some reason but why wish for what you havnt got when everything else was briliant.all the old songs and new sounded great and want to thank them so much for coming to australia and doing shows didnt think id ever get to see them live so it was great that it happened i ahd this whole thing were i kept thinking something wouldnt happen n id miss it or something would go wrong but thats just me...anyway if you want to see em just go you won't regret it.peace & love mish
