Quite honestly the reason is rather odd. As a teenager I felt awkward and a bit off from the other kids. Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan, were as well. However, they made it look fun, easy, special and graceful. The lyrics of their music have always been intriguing and playful. The sound has always been different from other bands...it pulls you in and yet you still want to bob to it, dance, let your arms flail wildly, or just sit there and enjoy the sounds.
