There seems to be a story behind them. I can't really say why, just as a whole- the members, the music- there's something whimsical about the Pumpkins. This is from someone who's only recently discovering them. I also tend to be picky with music, but they're rapidly becoming a favorite. Mellon Collie is like the piece of my youth that I never had. I feel like each story was once my own.
