I first heard the pumpkins back in 95
I was 12 years old
It was christmas eve
and my aunt Glenna gave me MCIS as my present
I was hooked ever sense then. The pumpkins gave me some sense of connection and hope to the real world as an over-emotional angst driven teen. There was a song for every mood I was in. I got the other albums..i had 4 or 5 different t-shirts i wore proudly every day.My walls were plastered with posters of my heroes. I have never then nor now, or ever will be into a band or feel such a connection to then the Smashing Pumpkins.
Its good to see them back.
