I´ve seen the concert in Zürich from the first row...
It was so great. It´s so awesome to see Billy and the Pumpkins play live. It was a snap decision to visit the Zürich - concert but the rigt one!!! On 24th I´ll be in Oberhausen and now I can´t wait till then! ;-) The songs and the concert gave me so much impressions and a great feeling, this is music which I can hear every time of day. The varying of rock songs and "slower" song at the concert was nice. I love this music and the lyrics and I hope the pumpkins play a longer while! A wish of me is to meet Billy and talk about his music and thinking, it would be great. Dreaming... ;-)

The concert was unbelievable and I´m happy to the pumpkins again in Oberhausen!

It's weird. I saw the pumpkins for the first time ever. I know it sounds lame because I'm a fan since 1995 and I used to listen every second to the pumpkins. Well... I've seen many many bands before and now in Zürich in the Hallenstadion. The place was definately too big for a band like that. The people were not that exicted... sometimes. So the intimacy wasn't really there. They played over 2 h 30 mins - set that's well... I don't know if I liked it that much. The old songs were so cool, full of energy. They played straight, good and very emotional. The new songs off the album Zeitgeist were kind of "not so special at all".

I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm an old pumpkins fan but the old stuff was so much better. I hope that Billy Corgan returns to his origins in a way. And of course I'm sad that D'arcy and James weren't there.

But I liked it and I still like them. There a big important peace of my youth.

I will see them again if they're playing in Switzerland again. I mean, the first time isn't always the best, right?

This was my 5th Smashing Pumpkins concert, i think i attended all concerts they did in Switzerland ever! But this concert was by far the longest. 2,5 Hours and about 28 Songs! A dream come true for every SP-Fan.

What I like about any SP concert is that they are all totally different. Billy really thinks about his setlists before every tour, he not only plays their greates hits like so many other bands out there.

In Zurich, the band was in a very good condition. The sound was heavy and precise, Billy's voice sounded great. Interestingly, the attendance was rather weak. The Hallenstadion was about half full, meaning about 6000-7000 people attending the pumpkins. I liked that, because it gave the concert quite an intimate feeling.

The Setlist was very cool, i would have liked some more old songs but ok. My personal highlight was Mayonaise, a song that i never heard on a SP live gig before and the Monster-Version of Cash car star, which had several other song elements in it, e.g. an iron maiden guitar lick...see spfc.org for details.

I am already looking forward to the next SP concert in Switzerland. One thing is for sure, i will be there!

What a beautiful night in Zürich, what a great concert of the Pumpkins! How clean and bright their sound was, much clearer than in performances I saw last year and in 2000. There was nothing like the "wall of noise" I expected at least during parts of the performance.

It was a 2 hour 45 minute set full of different moods. It was a great mix of slower songs and heavy rock, it was passionate and powerful. No need to say how great the lightshow was – impressive as always. It is obvious how much Billy enjoys to rock. He did not talk much, but during the couple of sentences he said, he was joking and even laughed out loudly in response to the crowd. It is impressive how often Billy changed the guitar, maybe eight times. For me, the highlights of the concert were “Tonight” (as it will always be), “Superchrist”, “United States”, and “My blue heaven”, which is just fun to hear out of Billy's mouth.

After a night like last night, I just feel like the term “rock show” had no meaning without the Smashing Pumpkins. This was rock at its best. Thank you for this memory.

Many thanks to the Smashing Pumpkins! The Zürich concert was a tremendous rock show - very good mixture of new songs and classics. And you were right, you really got some surprises during the show.

@Billy: You asked were the after party was? I guess you missed it, or did you find it in those pants???

WOW!!! Yesterday, I was at the concert in zurich and it was the BEST concert i've ever been! The pumpkins were full of energy and it was a great mood!! I stood in the first row and i'm sure, Billy smiled at me...:-) So i'm really very happy that i was there!! Thank you pumpkins, it was just PERFECT

Hi, I'm new for the site, old for the fanclub. I was at Palamalaguti, far from you but next to your heart i hope. I watched like an angel and a devil run to eachother on stage. It was you? The heavy songs, but also the unplugged were my favourite, thank you for tonight and Ava Adore. I always thought about Eyes Wide Shut everytime i whatch the video. And your extremely deep extremely high.
And even new clothes on you!:-) What a marvellous skirt, where did get it? I want it over all!! My friend suppose you didn't dress anything for underwear...
