Lisa, Ginger, Jeff, Billy & Jimmy:
You sounded great once again. Another harmonically excellent, emotional event. I've seen you twice on this tour and I've caught you in solo forms, Zwan ensemble, and several other times before then. They've all been great, although my least favorite was in '94 because the group was just too out-of-sync, to me (although the drums were phenomenal, as always JC). I love that it is your stage, and the way you seem to spice it up with what feels good that day.
Billy, I think the banter was better than I've ever heard ya' before (I haven't been able to see you in Chicago, yet; nor at a multi-day session). You had me laughing and cheering plenty; no mayo, cowboys, acoustic chat, private island & internet. The Billy-genius I've always loved. Iron Man & Rock-n-Roll - I know ya'll loved that too. (I have and will purchase music that I love, just as I hope all fans of creativity will.)
I think I might be growing some rosy-lenses on me eyes, but you all sounded even tighter and more-solid than you did even a few months ago, which had been the best I'd heard yet; Red Rocks was quite memorable. Even if you were kinda cold, it was still great. But at this show Pomp and Circumstances was amazing - I won't bother with how equally great the other pieces were.
Everyone sounds like they're tuned into the same wavelength & the amazing sounds you are creating will forever be with me.
Have a great break and another round in 2008. I hope to see you all again soon; and again later too. Thanks.

I agree, prinzo1. To me, Billy seemed laid back & ready to rock. His vocals were heavy and he seemed into it to me! They played their heart out for us, changed up the songs a bit and jammed. My only complaint is I wish it didn't end =D I also wish I had of hung around a while to see them come out after the show.

Very poignant Satur999! Reading your soothing prose harkens back to a simpler time when we lived in caves, gathered berries, and grunted our dismay at the sun as it disappeared over the horizon. You took half a page to say absolutely nothing. Three cheers for mindless prattle! Your meandering grammatical nightmare makes my stomach hurt.
It seems people are mistaking mighty SP's effortless mastery of the music for apathy. They are hovering around 40 (even if they don't look it at all), if you want to see a bunch of girls dancing around in tight pants, go see Panic at the Disco or something. Billy and Jimmy achieved a kind of monk-like inner peace and serenity along with a preternatural telepathy (it was apparent in Asheville that they are fully in control of their destiny). Check out Silverf**k, the last song played at the last show in Asheville. It's "on the fly" and completely evil. The calm smirk doesn't mean they're "phoning it in" it means "I can melt your face with my eyes closed." The music is so ferocious and fluid and alive. I am stupefied by how easy they make it look.
...Sorry, just bored at work!

Not to downplay any of the great music that was played that night, but it seemed the Pumpkins were tired and ready for the tour to be over. At first I thought being the last date on the tour would be a good thing, but it still turned out to be awesome. Overall that was still the best Pumkins show that I have been too. I heard tones I had never heard before. Nice heavy show. Hope to see you guys soon.

i've waited 12 years to see them! it was amazing. i was so close. i thought i was gonna cry but thankfully i kept my composure. it was a fantastic show.
i agree with buying cd's. i download songs from artists i don't know too well and only like 1 or 2 of their songs. but if you truly love a band, by their cd's and support them. touring isn't easy and they deserve to be paid for how hard they work.
that concert was the best i've ever been to. i wish i coulda effing met him.

it was a great show, and was worth driving great lengths and receiving two hours of sleep before my eight o'clock class this morning... just one comment in response to a comment made last night. I personally boycott downloading music, i buy every (that means every one of the 853 cds that remain in my collection) cd from a corporate middle man. it is kind of like not getting paid for the work you perform. either way just wanted to let people know, [bad word removed] the internet, and start supporting bands that you love and support. think4urself, peace!
